Scopriamo di cosa si tratta!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">La piccola creatura si chiama <em>E<span id=\"ouHighlight__214_219TO223_228\" class=\"\">lysia<\/span><span id=\"noHighlight_0.8513619850241192\"> <\/span><span id=\"ouHighlight__206_212TO230_237\" class=\"\">smeraldo<\/span><span id=\"noHighlight_0.4846850677476917\"> <\/span><span id=\"ouHighlight__198_204TO239_247\" class=\"\">orientale<\/span><\/em><span id=\"noHighlight_0.7956851517754904\"> <\/span><span id=\"ouHighlight__221_222TO249_249\">o&nbsp;<\/span><span id=\"noHighlight_0.11671523171711806\"><\/span><em><span id=\"ouHighlight__224_229TO251_256\">Elysia<\/span><span id=\"noHighlight_0.3294421440340971\"> <\/span><\/em><span class=\"highlighted\"><em>chlorotica <\/em>e vive lungo la costa orientale del Nord America. Essa ha incorporato i geni dell&#8217;alga <em>Vaucheria litorea<\/em>, nei propri cromosomi: ingerendo filamenti di quest&#8217;alga ha potuto digerirne le cellule ma non i <strong>cloroplasti<\/strong> (organuli che servono per la fotosintesi) che sorprendentemente sono riusciti a sopravvivere all&#8217;interno della lumaca.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image wp-image-11598\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"580\" height=\"573\" src=\"http:\/\/www.bmscience.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/82539_orig.jpg\" alt=\"82539_orig\" class=\"wp-image-11598\" style=\"width:432px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bmscience.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/82539_orig.jpg 580w, https:\/\/bmscience.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/82539_orig-300x296.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 580px) 100vw, 580px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">La piccola lumaca ha la forma e il colore di una foglia!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><span id=\"ouHighlight__231_240TO258_267\" class=\"highlighted\">Questo \u00e8 possibile perch\u00e9 ne<\/span><span id=\"ouHighlight__231_240TO258_267\" class=\"highlighted\">l patrimonio genetico di queste lumache sono presenti geni e proteine essenziali per i cloroplasti.<br>Appena nata si presenta di un color rossiccio, successivamente il suo colore diviene di un bel verde smeraldo causato proprio dai cloroplasti assorbiti dalle sue cellule.
